And here we are January 30th
I made a new layout. I’m trying a new style. I’m not sure how much I like it yet, and I’m not really sure how it looks for others (mainly for those with other screen resolutions… like those with really big resolutions). Well, let me know if it looks all right to you and your screen resolution, browser, etc. I would appreciate it.
If you missed my last blog, you may be wondering why some things are missing or different. Short story – I was cleaning up and removing the databases and WP installations of past hostees, aaaaaannnnnddd… well, I accidentally deleted mine. So I decided just to start anew. It’s kind of fun to start fresh, in a way, although I am a bit annoyed at myself for not paying attention to what I was doing.
So what’s missing? A few pages from the About Me section and the works from 2004-2007 from the Writing section. The “essential” things are all back though, as are all of the pages that were previously in the Extras section, now renamed Misc for Miscellaneous Stuff.
Life-wise, I’m going to find that the semester has kicked in finally. I have put off my NMR virtual lab for far too long, so I have to do that this weekend, in addition to writing the prelab for the epoxidation lab and studying for the epoxidation quiz in Orgo Chem lab. In addition, I have a Physics exam next week. I don’t think I’m prepared. We’ll see how it goes. Hopefully the NMR virtual lab runs smoothly because I have only the weekend left to do it! (Of course I’m not doing it tonight!) And the program we have to use for it only works on Windows PCs, so I have to use my friend’s computer to get it done.
Tonight, my friends and I are going ice skating for the first time this semester. I’m excited to use my new ice skates! I got my own skates for Christmas because I was tired of renting every time we went. Hopefully this will be a money saver.
Also, and note to my commenters, I have it set so that if you’re a first-time commenter, I will have to approve your comment first. Since pretty much everyone is considered a first-timer at this point, do not be alarmed if your comment does not post right away.
What are your plans for the upcoming weekend?
Edit: I’ve been tagged by Sara, so if you’re interested in my responses, read on:
