Subdomain Hosting
I am offering some of my web space to share with people who need hosts for their websites. If you are interested in becoming a part of the LoveChem.net network, please continue reading.
What I Offer
- Your own subdomain (you.lovechem.net)
- 100 MB of space
- A share of my bandwidth
- An email account, if desired (you@lovechem.net)
- Wordpress installed, if desired
Requirements
- Your site must be a blog, personal site, portfolio, or a fan site (depending on the particular content; please specify when applying). I will not host pure graphics/resource sites.
- X/HTML and CSS knowledge. Please provide an example of a functioning site so that I can see that you can actually create a website.
- Knowledge of how to use an FTP program.
- Avoid illegal use images. Basically, this means that I don’t want you using any images that aren’t yours, or that you haven’t been explicitly given permission by the creator to use. However, if this is a fan site, I understand that this may be difficult to avoid.
- Avoid insecure scripts. While I am no security genius, if I read up on certain scripts that have a lot of holes in security, then I try not to use them.
- Keep in touch with me once in a while, via my blog or via email.
- You must have your website up and running within 3 weeks after I set up your account.
If at any time you violate any of these rules, I may delete your account without warning.
